Physical Education and Health
Physical Education and Health is a valued learning area at Elizabeth Park Schools. All classes undertake PE as a specialist lesson where they learn life long skills, enabling them to be healthy, active and successful members of the community.
Our school has a fully resourced, modern gymnasium with equipment for a multitude of different sports and activities. Health lessons are taught by both classroom and the specialist health teacher.
Physically active children have been shown to be more active learners. With this in mind, students at Elizabeth Park Schools take part in a whole school daily fitness program every morning from 8:55am until 9:10am. Within this time, students have the opportunity to take part in a variety of collaborative games run by the year 7 students.
Our school is also highly involved in SAPSASA and the senior school students are provided with many opportunities to participate in SAPSASA carnivals throughout the year.
