Community Hub

Elizabeth Park is proud to be a member of Community Hubs Australia. Our Community Hub Leader is Helen Teague, who has worked at the school for many years and has been part of the Community Hub leadership since its inception in 2023.

Our hub’s primary goals are to create a welcoming space where community members can connect with each other, learn new skills, and participate in programs that interest the community.

We offer a range of programs such as playgroups, cooking classes, conversational English classes, a parenting connect and support program, adult swimming lessons, and more. For families with young children, we provide free creche services for most of our programs.

Hub programs are based on the interests expressed by families in the community. We encourage you to come and chat with us about any ideas you have for new programs.

The hub is open to everyone; you do not need to be a school family to attend programs. Feel free to join us for any programs and events that interest you.

We are always looking for volunteers. If you are interested in helping with a program, running your own program, or assisting in creche or admin jobs, come and have a chat with either Helen.
